Finding Comfort and Connection

Since my mum moved into the care home, we’ve noticed a real difference in her. She’s settled in well, enjoys having company, and seems much more relaxed than she was before.

When Mum first arrived, she wasn’t particularly interested in joining activities but the staff were patient and encouraged her to get involved when she felt comfortable. Gradually, she’s started taking part in activities and enjoys spending time with other residents.

As a family, it’s reassuring to know she’s safe and well looked after. The staff are always approachable, keep us informed, and are happy to answer any questions we have.

Moving Mum into a care home wasn’t an easy decision but seeing how settled and content she is has given us confidence that we made the right choice.
